When the green coffee arrives in our roasting house, our master roaster Ronald Schärf conducts the enchanting transformation oft he raw product into the fragrant, aromatic blend of your favourite coffee.
To be able to brew a cup of coffee, we need roasted coffee. In „Schärf – The Art of Coffee“ we consider the roasting of coffee to be a form of art.
Identifiying and defining the perfect degree for roasting is a constant challenge, an artistic feat, even. Ultimately, it’s about drawing out over 800 aromas buried deep inside every single coffee bean in all their complexity.
In order to perform this process to perfection, we have developed the gentle, 14-minute rotatation method.
